With this look, the intention was to make the face more round like a planet. The look was made to look more literal than the other looks. Close up, Uranus is more light blue and from far away, it would appear more darker. So for the colouring, the base would be a dark blue and there would be hints of light blue with the high points of the face and the rings going over the head.

Design Process
With the experiments with the rings for Saturn, the same ring technique was used for Uranus since that planet also has rings, but they sit more vertically than horizontally. When it comes to the painting techniques, hints of purple along with the dark Blue were used to create different hues within the face. The light blue going across the face and the rings on top add a contrast to the base.
